Just heard a report on
Offramp that EZ Lube, a company that was cheating customers for years recently settled a lawsuit for $5 million. The settlement changes how they have to do business. Joel Grover and Matt Goldberg at KNBC
investigated EZ Lube in 2003, showing videos of technicians selling un-needed services, and charging people for services that were never made. Some customers even reported their engines blowing up a week after their car was serviced there. Need a good mechanic? Go see
Jim Matson.
