Fastback in Soho
Black with red pinstripe. I'm guessing by the nose that it's a 1970-73. It's one of the best colors I've seen on a fastback. Makes we want to paint the green hornet!

Wildflowers in Joshua Tree
This past weekend, Heather and I spent a day in Joshua Tree with our friends Lisa and Blake. The park was packed with visitors flockin to see the wildflower bloom on Easter Weekend. We couldn't camp inside the park but we found an awesome spot right outside the park, that we named Camp Cozy. The moon was nearly full and bathed the whole desert in light all night. The fire was cozy as was the food, artichoke ravioli, maui beef short ribs, & fire toasted bread and honey. Click on the image below to see a slideshow.

"Thomas Jefferson was “the son of a half-breed Indian squaw, sired by a Virginia mulatto father."
Have you heard the rumor about Jefferson? A couple centuries later we're hearing rumors about Obama. Nicholas Kristof's op-ed in today's New York Times forces us to take a close look at ourselves.
